This beautiful barrel has been selected exclusively for the Dutch market by Knockdhu distillery manager, Gordon Bruce. The whiskey has matured in an ex-bourbon barrel, is 15 years old and was bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 52.2%. The outcome of the barrel consists of 180 bottles, where the whiskey has of course retained its natural color and there is no cold filtration.

Tasting notes

Color: Light gold.

Nose: Sweet notes of tropical pineapple with creamy vanilla and delicate spices.

Taste: Delicious hints of citrus, fresh green apples and coconut followed by a spicy honey.

Finish: Balanced with warming spices transitioning into soft vanilla and chocolate.
