The eighth edition of Christian Drouin's Experimental series is a 19-year-old Pays d'Auge Calvados matured for 17 months in ex-rum casks from the Foursquare distillery. The scent reveals aromas of roasted apple, vanilla bean, salted caramel and pear drops. These lead to notes of pine nut, almond and pineapple when you take a sip. This combination of flavors creates a perfect marriage between Calvados and rum.
