To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Christian Drouin’s Expérimental range and its 10th edition, Drouin had the great pleasure of working with the most iconic brand of craft Scotch whisky: Springbank. The relationship with Springbank is not new, as the distillery used calvados casks to mature some of their whiskies twenty years ago.

The challenge for this new edition was to combine the apple with the peat notes of the Springbank casks (10-12 ppm). For this they chose a very deep 19 year old Pays d'Auge calvados. This was poured into 8 of these casks for 5 months for a limited edition of 2130 bottles. Eight casks of Drouin calvados were exchanged at Springbank.
