Chateau Kefraya Coteaux is a full red wine. This wine owes its taste to a wide variety of different grapes, namely Tempranillo , Cabernet-Franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Marselan. Based on this wine, Kefraya proves that it can make very good wines. The notes within this wine are somewhat like vanilla, coffee and smoke.

Perfect combinations

This Lebanese wine is completely vegan and has already won prizes. It is perfect to combine with a piece of Roquefort or with a delicious piece of beef, pork or lamb.

The Terroir

Chateau Kefraya 's vineyards stretch across the slopes of the Bekaa Valley, which are 1000 meters above the Mediterranean Sea. The soil is rich in gravel soils, chalk as well as sand and clay limestone. The vines are not irrigated and grow in the sun-drenched vineyards. The temperature differences between day and night ensure perfect ripening of the grapes.

In addition to the diversity of the soil, Château Kefraya uses a wide range of grape varieties in its blends, including Muscat à Petits Grains, Marselan, Carménère, Chardonnay and Viognier, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Chateau Kefraya also grows indigenous varieties such as Obeidi, Merwah and Mekssessé (white grapes) and revives old Lebanese red grapes such as Asmi Noir and Assouad Karech.

A large part of the vineyard is certified organic. All wines from the winery are vegan. A sustainable viticultural policy allows the vines to flourish, while respecting the expression of the terroir.
