Chateau Kefraya Special Cuvée Amphora is somewhat similar to the Millesima Special. This Cuvée Amphora is one of three unique cuvées in the Chateau Kefraya collection. The wine is a blend of Carignan,Cinsaut,Syrah andTempranillo varieties. This wine is matured in amphora barrels.

Tasting notes

Chateau Kefraya Special Cuvée Amphora has a beautiful ruby red color with purple reflections. The aroma is rich with notes of sandalwood, smoke, curry and leather combined with soft hints of violets, gooseberry, ripe red fruit and pepper. The taste is complex with silky tannins, spicy notes, bitter almonds, black cherries and quince. The aftertaste is long in which red fruit and cinnamon can clearly be tasted. Special Cuvée is delicious with spicy dishes, game and leg of lamb. Cool the wine for 30 minutes before serving and decant it.
