Tasting note
Deep ruby red in color with purple reflections. Aromas of black currants, ripe blackberries and raisins drift out of the glass. What a power there is in this wine, both in smell and in taste. Overwhelmingly ripe black fruit, blackcurrant, cassis, currants, a touch of sweet playfulness from the wood aging (vanilla, chocolate). A solid body and structure. A tough but very elegant wine with a long sizzling finale!
