Douloufakis Dafnios Liatiko is a beautiful Greek red wine made from the ancient Liatiko grape. This grape is grown on the island of Crete. The smell of the Liatiko grape also resembles the Nebbiolo grape. Would you like to enjoy a typical Greek wine? Then Douloufakis Dafnios Liatiko is the perfect choice for you!
The Douloufakis Dafnios Liatiko is characterized by its aromas of cherries and plums. Spicy tones of leather and a wood scent are also recognizable. This wine is red with orange hues and contains soft tannins and a smooth aftertaste. We recommend combining the wine with roasted or fried red meat.
In 1930, grandfather Dimitris Douloufakis started wine production, using the traditional method of Crete. Times have changed considerably, nowadays the company is run by grandson Nikos Douloufakis, together with his wife. They have completely modernized the winery and produce quality wines from their own vineyards. The family owns approximately 10 hectares of vineyards.
