Dakapo is an unknown German grape with red flesh. It is a deliberately bred cross between Deckrot (cross between Grauburgunder/Ruländer and Teinturier) and Blauer Portugieser to add structure and color to the wines. But this wine proves that this can be insane as an independent grape. The Dakapo is one of the highlights of the year for Martin Hochdörffer from wine house Franz Hahn from Germany. This wine/grape variety has almost disappeared in the entire Pfalz region. Unique in taste, this bottle promises to be a feast for your palate!
Wine description :
In the nose red berries, elderberry, dark fruit, black cherry, mocha and dark chocolate, some beet juice. Juicy on the palate, black cherry again, pure expression, fine-grained tannin in a rather small dose, harmoniously rounded.
