Each Distillers' Edition whiskey undergoes a second (or 'double') maturation in casks that fortified wine has been sitting in.

After maturation of ten years in a refillvat, in order to develop the soft character of distillation, makes a second maturation in a particular timber selected amontilladovat for a continuation of the optimization process. Balanced sweet and dry nose, great malt flavor and a long oak, dry finish.

Appearance: Hazel.

Nose: Brisk, sharp and brittle. Complex and excellent, even astonishing balance between sweet and dry. Firmer, drier notes of soft vanilla to crisp grape. Sweeter, nootachtigere tones come from the malted barley and the wood of the barrels.

Body: Firm, light to medium.

Taste: dry after a slight sweetness of cookies. Great malt character contrasts with the fruitiness of the grape.

Finish: Very long, dry, oak. Very faint peppery tones to spice which is weakened again by very light caramel.
