The whiskey contains a small batch of traditional whiskeys, consisting only of Islay malts from Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila & Port Ellen, among others. This great dram shows a characteristic balance of smoke and ash in addition to a nice sugary sweetness. Basically everything you would expect from this legendary bottling!

Tasting note:
Color: Light gold
Nose: Starts salty and fresh, develops into a sweet malt dried on peat.
Taste: Charred oak, chimney smoke and tar.
Finish: Long and persistent with brown sugar, smoke, campfire ashes and a phenolic quality.
