The Scarabus profile of sweet Islay peat smoke with extra complexity comes from the characteristics of the island in combination with the ex-bourbon barrels of American oak.

Pronounced rich and earthy with peat smoke, leather and menthol, softened by honey syrup and with a long, smooth and seductive finish.

Taste note:

Nose: first delicious sweet fruit, after which a hint of coffee and caramel lead to earthy notes and then also the first peat.
Taste: honey sweet and soft on the tongue with much more salty influences and "hot" herbs that combine with wet sand on the beach and menthol and also eucalyptus. Wonderfully warming.
Finish: the finish is spicier and spicier with warming peat smoke.
