This Scarabus Batch Strength is bottled at 57% alcohol. A small number of barrels have been specially selected to be able to bottle this “Small Batch”.

The character of Scarabus remains about the same, with of course the sweet peat smoke. But this Scarabus also has more campfire smoke, liquorice, toffee and a long finish with more ash.

Taste note:

Nose: Licorice with vanilla and roasted toffee. Wax and lysol lead to more peat smoke and smoldering campfires.
Taste: (re) fresh (send) and splash clean with eucalyptus combined with sea salt, ash, toffee and cough sweets.
Finish: long and lasting with warming salty influences and ash.
