This release is a logical consequence of the good relationship that DOT Brew and Teeling have maintained for many years and a mutual ambition to create unique expressions full of flavor and Dublin character.

Firstly, DOT Brew gets ex-rum casks from Teeling normally used for the Small Batch to make their own Teeling whiskey aged amber ale. When these casks return they are refilled with Small Batch allowing the whiskey to benefit from further maturation in these 'Rum Red Dark' amber ale casks.

Rum Red Dark is a nicely round, balanced beer with notes of dark fruit, raisins, biscuit, vanilla, caramel and a soft note of syrupy rum. The Small Batch has captured a significant portion of the flavors and aromas, creating an entirely unique whiskey. A whiskey full of natural character.
