Consume the same day after opening. After decanting, the wine will open and be at its peak.
Storage: Aging potential of 30 years. Keep the bottle flat at a constant temperature and protected from bright light. Over the years, bottled wines create natural deposits, so they must be carefully opened and decanted before serving. The wine should be consumed immediately when the bottle is opened.
Extra Information: Made from the grapes of 80 year old plants. Planted on terraces of Quinta Vista Alegre in the Cima Corgo area in the heart of the port area. Vineyard oriented to the south. Grapes are picked by hand and transported in small boxes to the Legares where they are crushed by foot. The fermentation of the must takes place under controlled temperature and is stopped by adding wine alcohol. Aging in large wooden barrels and after 2-3 it is bottled. This wine, produced according to the traditional method, has a great aging potential.
