Launched in March 2020, Moscatel Finish was the first 'finished' whiskey and quickly became a favorite with Filey Bay – and their customers – to enjoy.

Tasting Notes: Smooth, sweet and fruity with aromas of orange, honey, dried fruit and cocoa.

What is Filey Bay Moscatel Finish?

This field-to-bottle single malt was initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks before being transferred to casks from Spain that had stored Moscatel sherry for up to 10 years. The finish in Moscatel casks has allowed this whiskey to have more wood spice and layers of fruit such as raisins, orange and honeysuckle on top of our light and fruity bourbon house style.

Whether you're new to the Moscatel Finish, have had a few sips in the past, or are naturally inclined to drink whiskeys on the lighter and sweeter side of the flavor spectrum, this release is for you!
