Description: Deep ruby red color. A rich, jammy fruit scent (raspberry jam), but also something of dates, spices, fresh wood and a hint of chocolate. Full open taste of fruit and slightly aniseed, with good tannins and a soft aftertaste.

Gastronomy: Serve 16-18°C. Good Italian meal wine, but great with grilled lamb and beef. Beautiful Rosso Conero; the wine proves the potential of the Montepulciano grape

Extra Information: The Azienda Vinicola Pontemagno is located in Cupramontana, the beating heart of the Verdicchio di Jesi region, in De Marche. This region is also known for 2 types of red wine, namely Rosso Piceno and Rosso Conero. Rosso Conero DOC is a relatively small development area, especially compared to Rosso Piceno DOC and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC. Also rightly regarded as slightly higher than Piceno, barring exceptions.
