Review
Color Light yellow color
Smell A strong character, smells fresh with a floral and fruity bouquet. You will discover a pepper, thyme, capers, but also green apple, melon and grapefruit
Taste Good minerality, freshness and aromatic depth
Application
Fits perfectly with vegetarian dishes, but also with a salmon fillet with asparagus and mushrooms. All kinds of risottos and salad with chicken.
Judgement
You do not expect to find these types of wines in the Marche. Very subtle wood aging (max 10%) but full, complex with a rather classic French touch; an amazing glass.
Remark
Aldo Maria “Count” Brachetti-Peretti acquired the castle-like complex Il Pollenza in the 1970s. His family has been active in the oil and energy sector since the 1930s. Since the acquisition of Il Pollenza, major investments have been made in viticulture – until now only the best is good enough. Conte Brachetti was assisted by Giacomo Tachis, the Italian wine legend responsible for the SuperTuscan wines such as Sassiscaia, Solaia and Tignanello. Today, Carlo Ferrini is the eunologist and Valerio Barbieri is responsible for viticulture.
