All three reserva wines are a blend of two grape varieties in combination with (light) barrel aging. According to Alorna, this is the ultimate combination. The grape varieties reinforce each other and provide an amazing taste experience. The wood aging provides character and depth. These wines can also be used gastronomically.
Arinto & Chardonnay
This wine combines citrus notes and the minerals you know from the Arinto. Ripe yellow fruit and nuances of roasted Chardonnay. Smooth and balanced. Partially matured for 4 months in American oak. Goes well with intense fish dishes, soft cheeses and Cod au gratin. Is at its best between 10 – 12ºC.
