The two showpieces of Quinta da Alorna. The composition of the grapes has been kept secret for years by winemaker Martta Reis Simões. We can say that the wines have had a lot of barrel aging, but not at the expense of fruitiness and freshness. Several times awarded by, among others, Robert Parker and the Guia Copo & Alma.
Tinto
This secret blend has an intense aroma in which floral notes and very ripe fruit come to the fore. Afterwards you will also taste chocolate, tobacco and white pepper. This wine was aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels. Goes well with roasted goat cheese, venison and spicy dishes. Is at its best between 16 – 18ºC.
