Tarapacá has different ways of winemaking.
This series contains all top wines. With respect for the grapes and the selection of the very best plots (alluvial with boulders), the pure character, finesse and balance can be obtained. This means nice to drink, despite the strength and concentration!!
Pinot Noir Gran Reserva is a blend of 4 different vineyards from the cool coastal area. 86% is from 3 vineyards from Leyda Valley.
Vineyard Cheuque is located in the Coastal Mountains and has a clay soil and a (warm) Northern exposure. These grapes give sweet plum flavors and honey notes.
Vineyard Canelo consists of a granite bottom, a cool west exposition and gives elegant Pinot Noir with fresh cherry and flower aromas.
Vineyard Araña consists of weathered granite soil and gives classic Pinot Noir with cherry and raspberry. These grapes are fermented on stainless steel to preserve the typical fruit.
14% of the Pinot Noir comes from an old vineyard in the Casablanca valley
Drink with: Steaks from the grill and with nice spicy farmhouse cheeses.
Tasting note: Stunning dark red color and aromas of ripe fruit such as cherry, plum and honey. On the palate, sultry, very intense with a nice balance between soft tannins, sultry juicy fruit tones and aromas of strawberry and cedar.
Shelf life: The wine is ready to drink when it comes to the market. It can ripen fine for 8-10 years, but drunk within 5 years, the wine gives a lot of fresh fruit pleasure. Top, fresh with beautiful fruit.
