Rather than opting for traditional orange wine barrels, where white wine grapes are fermented in contact with their skins and seeds, this release from The One is finished in exceptionally rare 'Vino de Naranja' spiced barrels, made only in Huelva, Andalusia.

Aged almost exclusively for personal consumption, Seville orange peel is macerated to a grape-based spirit and aged in American oak barrels, to yield a delicious, light and elegantly flavored Naranja wine.

By finishing our blend of The Lakes Single Malt and select Scottish grain and malt whiskeys from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay in Orange Wine casks, the original spirit takes a back seat as new flavors come through.

The barrels create a distinctive buttery and creamy texture as the oak occasionally brings out spicy notes through a nose of tropical fruit, country marmalade and notes of tobacco.

With flavors of soft peat, butterscotch and candied oranges, this is a clean and smooth whiskey with delicate nuances that you can enjoy neat, with club soda and a hint of orange, or as you wish.

Bottled in the natural color, The One Orange Wine Cask Finished is 46.6% ABV and is non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and fuller taste.
