Auchentoshan is the only Scottish single malt to distill each drop three times, for smoothness, purity and subtlety. That is why Auchentoshan has a pleasantly light and accessible character. Auchentoshan is one of two consistently producing Lowland malt distilleries. The distillery has been located near Glasgow since 1823, at the foot of the Old Kilpatrick Hills; hence the name Auchentoshan, Celtic for 'corner of the field'.

Auchentoshan is unique by applying 'triple distillation' for the preparation of Scottish single malt whisky. The Auchentoshan malts get their subtle flavor nuances by using casks of various types of wood that have previously matured bourbon, sherry, port or wine.

Auchentoshan has been much acclaimed. Recent 2012 awards include 'Best Lowland' for Auchentoshan 1999 Wine Matured at the World Whiskeys Award and 'Double Gold' for Auchentoshan Three Wood at the San Francisco World Spirits.

Color: Bright golden yellow.
Aroma: Vanilla, coconut and fresh lemon.
Taste: Refreshing, soft and lively with creamy vanilla notes, coconut and white peach.
Finish: Fresh, with candied grapefruit and a hint of spice.
