This single malt Scoth was distilled at the Allt-á-Bhainne distillery in 1993. After that, it spent a nice 29 years on a single hogshead. A total of 275 bottles flowed from this, 36 of which are available for the Netherlands.

Nose: Toasted coconut and vanilla biscuit is nicely balanced with spicy marmalade and malt.

Palate: Rich, oaky caramel with a hint of grassy barley, followed by tangy citrus peel and zesty fruit sorbet.

Finish: Creamy chocolate tops it all off, with hints of syrupy ginger cake, earthy vanilla pods and a pinprick of pepper.
