Domaine des Rabichattes – IGP Côte de la Charité Montaillant – Chardonnay
Since 2011, the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties have been grown here. In the Middle Ages, it was the Cistercian monks of the Abbey of Bouras en la Charité who first discovered the potential of these loam-limestone mounds. The terroirs and climate are comparable to those of the Côtes de Nuits and Côtes de Beaune. A subtle combination of the best of Centre-Loire and Burgundy wines. The plots located in the town of Chasnay offer ideal conditions to create round, fruity wines with subtle tannins.
