This Old Rare cognac from WV Baker & Cie comes from the Fins Bois Region and was bottled in November 2022.

This is a truly beautiful cognac from an area that is regularly seen as less interesting for older cognacs. However, the Fins Bois are the beating heart of our appellation. The winemakers in this region are particularly dependent on the ebb and flow of the cognac market. This has given them a completely different perspective, which goes back to the beginning of the 20th century. This Fin Bois actually comes from a time of great distress in the industry, but it's obviously a hidden gem. Bottled at cask strength, this is an untouched cognac. So no sugars or caramel have been added. A total of 48 bottles of this edition were produced.
