The Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction II is the successor to the Tamdhu Quercus Alba. The whiskey has the unique and characteristic properties of the Tamdhu spirit, which is fully matured in American oak (the Quercus Alba) on which oloroso sherry has rested.

The staves of the barrels are air-dried in the Mediterranean sun before being assembled and roasted by experienced coopers. Finally, the barrels are filled with the Oloroso sherry to infuse the wood with the specific taste and smell. After this, the barrels continued their journey to the Tamdhu distillery. Over time, the distillery's vibrant young whisky, or spirit, combines with the American oak sherry cask to deliver rich fruity flavors and a beautiful natural amber colour.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Malty and creamy with vanilla, cinnamon, honey, apple crumble, cherry, citrus and delicate mint.
Taste: Mouth-filling with a luscious rich taste, thick and fruity with soft oak, plum, gooseberry, chocolate and lime.
Finish: Long with the sherry notes lingering in a fruity finish with dates and cake topped with syrup.
