Tasting note
The grapes are harvested from very old vines and the yields per hectare are very low. Beautiful ruby red color. In the smell very jammy and generous with lots of blackberry fruit. The taste is intense and round. Despite the considerable alcohol content, the wine remains very elegant and drinkable. The long finish betrays the special terroir of Manduria, where the wine finds its origin.
