The legend of Ferrari began in 1902 with Giulio Ferrari, and his dream to make a wine in Trentino that could compete with the best French Champagnes. Giulio was a pioneer; he was the first to plant significant amounts of Chardonnay in Italy. He started producing a few very selected bottles of wine, with an obsessive attention to quality. The third generation of the Lunelli family keeps the Ferrari dream alive. Marcello, Matteo, Camilla and Alessandro lead the company with the aim of combining innovation and tradition and bringing Ferrari around the world as ambassadors of the Italian Art of Living. They have a deep bond with the territory and respect for the land. All Ferrari wines are Trento Doc and produced exclusively from grapes grown at high altitudes in Trentino using sustainable farming methods.
