Taste character

The Reserve du Couvent is a sturdy, full-bodied red wine. Characteristic are the flavors and aromas of spices, herbs, ripe and red and black fruit. The scents of rosemary and laurel are immediately recognizable. The mild tannin is a typical characteristic of the vineyards in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon.

The winery

The Château Ksara winery was founded in 1857 by Jesuits and is the oldest and largest winery in Lebanon. In 1972 the winery was sold by the monks. Nowadays it has been modernized and delicious wines are made from mainly French grape varieties.
