On May 30, the Mac-Talla Pedro Ximenez Edition will be presented on the well-known whiskey island of Islay. This Mac-Talla is a one-off and limited in number of bottles to the now well-known and popular Mac-Talla Terra, Mara and Strata, which are continuously available.

Mac-Talla would like to show the whiskey drinker around the iconic whiskey island through the different whiskeys that reflect all aspects and flavors of the Islay whiskeys.
This latest Mac-Talla was originally aged in both; PX sheryy, Oloroso sherry as bourbon casks, after which the whole is further matured in fisrt fill Pedro Ximenez casks. A very special and tasteful whiskey in which the peaty Islay influences are "quenched and enriched" by the sweet and fruity influences of the sherry casks.

Taste note:
Color: deep and dark copper
Nose: complex with a perfect balance between berry jam sweetness and natural fruit influences with sweet peat smoke and salty sea influences.
Palate: Maritime smoke with burnt toffee, campfire stewed berries on a windswept beach, dates, rum-soaked raisins.
Finish: wonderfully rich and sweet with the salty and salty influences of the sea running through and over it, all of which is laced with wonderfully warming peat smoke.
