Taste note:

Matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks and ex-Oloroso sherry casks

Nose: first a nasal stimulus, after which scents of a fruit salad combine with tumtum, berry lemonade syrup, but also cigar smoke and freshly ground coffee beans. Polished leather shoes and even freshly ground pepper.

Taste: first a lot of fruit on the tongue, after which freshly roasted nuts, oak, dark red fruit (syrup) pass into darker leather and oak.

Finish: this Lochlea lingers wonderfully on the tongue and in the cheeks with orange syrup with delicious warming oak and gingerbread spices. This is wonderful, especially for an even younger whiskey.
