Tasting Note:

Nose – Waves of peaty smoke immediately emerge. The character of the coast and the splashing of sea water are also easily recognisable. Fresh pear and galia melon come to the fore when you let this dram sit in the glass for a while.

Taste – Sweet smoke, red currants and lime juice.

Finish – Rum flambéed bananas with a long phenolic finish. This is the most peated Kingsbarns we've ever tasted!

Kingsbarns single cask whiskeys are renowned for the nuances and variety they develop in both the aroma and taste of the whisky. This is due to the aging in oak barrels. Always limited in number because only so many bottles can be taken from a barrel, these are bottles that should be cherished and savored quietly. Natural color and non-chill filtered.
