This heavily peated whiskey (57 'phenolic parts per million') is distilled with Irish barley from the Lacken Farm. Francis Kehoe's farm - now in its fourth generation - is located in County Wexford, northeast of Waterford.

Francis is able to produce barley of exceptional quality thanks to the sandy and well-drained soil – the terroir – that forms its rolling barley fields.

Tasting notes:
Nose: A lively, fresh and smoky scent with notes of oysters and orchard fruits (apples and pear peels).
Taste: A full, oily and unctuous taste with the juiciness of white peach and apple sauce.
Finish: Complex with cigar tobacco, green tea and tar.
