Meet Karas Single Vineyard Areni, a great wine with deep roots in the history of Armenia. This red wine comes from vineyards at the foot of the majestic Mount Ararat, in the beautiful Armavir region of Armenia. The rich volcanic soil in this area, which has been growing wine for centuries, gives the wine a unique character. Karas Single Vineyard Areni is made from the indigenous Areni grape, which thrives in the Armenian soil. The grapes undergo traditional fermentation and maceration in amphorae, which brings out their character in a unique way. The wine is then lovingly matured in Armenian oak for 14 months, adding complexity and refinement. This wine combines artisanal winemaking with the rich traditions of the region, and the result is a wine with unique personality and depth. Karas Single Vineyard Areni has an alcohol content of 13%. It is not just a wine, but a piece of history in a bottle. Try it yourself and discover the flavors and secrets of this special wine.

Tierras de Armenia, which opened its doors in 2003, is today a leading and contemporary winery in Armenia. The vineyards are hidden between the majestic Ararat and Aragats mountains, in the historic Armavir district, known since ancient times as a center for agriculture in the South Caucasus thanks to its favorable climatic conditions. The vineyards of this company cover more than 400 hectares and are located at altitudes ranging from 1000 to 1200 meters above sea level. Both indigenous and international grape varieties thrive here, such as chardonnay, viognier, kangun and muscat for the white wines, and malbec, tannat, syrah, merlot and others for the red varieties. At Tierras de Armenia they are focused on embracing the latest developments in viticulture. To realize this ambition, they have appointed the talented Argentinian winemaker Gabriel Rocha as their chief oenologist and the renowned consultant winemaker Michel Rolland as their oenological advisor. Gabriel Rocha shares his vision: “I strive for each wine to reflect the unique characteristics of its origin, soil, climate and the people involved, so that it stands out from other wines. I see significant potential in Armenia, and we must have the courage to break conventional thinking.” In essence, Tierras de Armenia boldly combines tradition and innovation to produce remarkable Armenian wines.
