With a flavour profile unique to the Hunan region, Goalong truly stands out as a premium Single Malt Whisky that can rival whiskies from other countries. This golden-hued whisky has been matured for 5 years in ex-bourbon casks. Each cask of whisky is matured at the distillery in the Hunan region of south-central China. Due to the huge variation in temperature in this part of China, the interaction between the whisky and the wood of the casks is great. This in turn accelerates the ageing process and brings out complex notes from the very beginning of the maturation.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Gold

Nose: Malty, sweet, soft creaminess, a hint of smoke and a touch of oak.

Taste: Round, nutty and oaky, with just the right amount of tannins.

Finish: Light smoky aroma.
