Our 100% Islay releases are the sum of the efforts made at every step of the process. From sowing the barley in 2013 and 2014, to harvesting, malting, distilling, maturing and bottling. And all of these steps take place here on our own estate. This year we have chosen a combination of bourbon and sherry cask maturation. In my opinion, the contrasting influences create a very nice balance between a rich whisky and a light, floral character.
