Nose: Fresh red fruit like berries and cherries is supported by oak, gingerbread spices, fondant, milk chocolate and mint. A real old-fashioned nose with copper in the sun, old leather and cherry pralines.
Taste: This is whisky as it used to be. Deep caramel and chocolate with cherry syrup, old-fashioned candy canes, delicious fresh white spices with warmer variations further back on the tongue. The spices from the oak with vanilla pods and pepper at the end, are perfectly balanced by the dark red fruit.
Finish: here too we enjoy that delicious combination of dark red fruit and warming oak that remains on the back of the tongue. The fresh herbs make you long for the next glass.
