A, for the time being, one-off bottling of this age, so not only a nice whisky to drink, but also a collector's item. The whisky has matured entirely in first fill ex-bourbon barrels, after which half has been transferred to ex-champagne barrels from Paul Launois to mature there for at least 1 year. The whole is not peated.

Bottled at 50% and naturally not cold filtered and not coloured.

Tasting note:

Nose: The nose first fills with an abundance of tropical fruits with ripe mango, pineapple and then lots of honey. Baked banana with brown sugar, figs and wine gums. After a few minutes the darker notes of “Crème caramel”, toffee and meringue with white chocolate.
Taste: Ah, old-fashioned influences of wax. The honey continues, supported by linseed oil, warming spices, gingerbread, fresh pineapple and cedarwood.
Finish: The mouthfeel is sticky, waxy with great depth.
