Pronck Hortus is a spicy, copper-colored ale with cinnamon leaf, Djeroek Poeroet and Bergamot. In collaboration with Leiden University, Department of Biology, we developed this beer. Each batch is dry-hopped with fresh flowers from the Hortus. This ensures that no two batches are the same!
Ingredients: Water, Barley malt (Pils malt, Helles malt, Biscuit malt, Sour malt), Hop flowers (Hallertau Tradition, Waimea), Bergamot, Cinnamon leaf, Lime leaf, Seasonal flowers from the Hortus Botanicus Leiden, Yeast
