Domain
The winery is located in Apulia, an important wine region in the south of Italy. The company was founded more than 20 years ago. Mario del Conte is characterized by its innovations in machinery and winemaking techniques. The grape varieties used at Mario del Conte represent the soul of the Apulia region. The terroir is unique: climate, natural elements and human labor are the key factors for wine production. The temperate climate confers a number of important characteristics on the grapes. The soil is clayey, rich in iron and is characterized by reddish "spots"; this is another important factor for the development of the grape.

The grapes are fermented for 8-10 days at a controlled temperature of 25-27°C, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 3 months in stainless steel tanks and 3 months in bottle.
