Founded in 2003, Karas Wines began by carefully selecting the ideal locations for their vineyards, situated near the Armenian capital of Yerevan, at the foot of the majestic Ararat. Here they found fertile volcanic soil and the perfect altitudes, ranging from 400 to 1100 meters, to grow grapes of exceptional quality. Driven by a deep passion for making exceptional wines, Karas Wines strives to produce wines that both reflect Armenia’s rich history and satisfy modern tastes.
