The Loch Lomond 150th Open Special Edition 2022 is matured in American Oak casks before being finished in Bordeaux Red Wine Barriques. This gives this delicious water of life more complexity with hints of strawberry, peach, lime and creamy fudge, oak and soft spice.

The whisky was specially bottled in honour of the 150th time that the famous golf tournament is organised. Golf is an important sport in Scotland and much more of a popular sport than in the Netherlands. Loch Lomond has been the title sponsor of this sporting festival for several years now, which is held at the prestigious Saint Andrews.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Fresh and fruity, peach, pear and red apples with floral notes.

Flavor: Strawberry, peach and lime, creamy fudge and cookies.

Finish: Long with lingering oak spice and soft smoke.
