An exceptional single malt whiskey aged in specially selected barrels that show the true character of a 15-year Campbeltown Malt whiskey. The whiskey is carefully aged in the finest American barrels before being bottled. The distinctive nose has hints of vanilla oak, intertwined with the show subriele of sea spray and spicy aromatic fruit.

Nose:
Richer colors. Broad and medium difficulty with citrus peel, ginger biscuits. Sweet with a great depth. Apricot aromas evolve and glide towards fruit salad. After a short time, the timber comes to the fore, water helps to release the fried fruit.

Taste:
A separate and complex palette from which you initially expected that the nose leads to full fruit, but what you get is a surprisingly dry element. The flavor adds as first impressions of the nose disappear. Adding water brings caramelized elements in balance with the timber elements as you would expect from a 15 year old whiskey.

finish:
Firm and somewhat dry.

In the notorious Victorian era whiskey region Campbeltown was the epicenter of the whiskey industry in Scotland. At the time, there were no fewer than 30 distilleries in the region. Over the years, however, much has changed and there are many distilleries closed on the peninsula. Closing the many distilleries in conjunction with the kleinde supply and high demand has led to a shortage came to the whiskey with the salty nose. Campbeltown is an isolated place, far from civilization and unique from the other areas in Scotland.
