Nose: Starts with strong but smooth peat smoke which turns into a combo of homemade wine and light ginger ale. Then turns into wet peat and soil. Bit crispy with some citrus sourness and lemon peel.
Taste: Peat smoke and bit of malty notes. Even though peaty, nicely smooth. Mildly fresh with citrus notes and orange peel.
Finish: Lingers nicely with peat smoke yet again. Fruity green and nutty. Drops of water make it more fruity, and for a brief moment, there’s a spicy and burning smoke in aftertaste.
Balance: Like I mentioned before, very smooth peated whiskey. Nicely in balance, light, yet heavy.
