Tenjaku Blended Japanese Whisky Read more..
40% 0.70 liters
Nose: Sweet aromas, slightly smoky accents, pear and dried fruit
Taste: Round and soft, but exceptionally powerful
Aftertaste: A long finish, spicy, a hint of white oak and sweetness
I don’t really care if they call it a feak or not, but it is a very nice blend and I like the price (€25,-)
The whiskey is very sketchy and doubtful that it is true Japanese whiskey. If you look at the site they don't talk about their sourcing at all, they don't have a distillery, and the backing company has a long history of importing products and bottling for different companies. Japan does not restrict what can be called a "Japanese Whiskey" so only a small amount of actual Japanese product must be included, the rest could be imported. Additionally, the man Kenji Watanabe is also associated with Kaiyou whiskey which is already a known Japanese fake.
