With a flavor profile unique to the Hunan region, Goalong truly stands out as a high-quality Single Malt Whiskey that can compete with whiskeys from other countries. This gold tinted whiskey has matured for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Each barrel of whiskey is matured at the distillery in the Hunan region of south central China. Due to the enormous variation in temperature in this part of China, the interaction between the whiskey and the wood of the barrels is great. Which in turn accelerates the aging and it brings complex notes from the beginning of the aging with complex notes.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Bright light gold

Smell: The first notes are rich with elegant fruity notes of honey, jam and raisins. The sweet aroma of the malt is intertwined with a soft and subtle floral, slightly woody aroma. In combination with a light vanilla scent, this whiskey smells wonderfully rich and lively.

Taste: Sweet, clear, smooth and slides in easily. He is well balanced. Vanilla, nectar, and just the right amount of fresh fruit come to the fore. Sweet and soulful.

Finish: Medium long and nice round finish. Has a very mild fruity finish with notes of vanilla later on.
