The labels provide information about the origin of the whiskey, the vat, the time of distillation and the time of bottling. Whiskeys from Speyside have a red label whiskeys from the Highlands a blue label. For the Lowlands soon become true green color, Islay a brown / gray tint. Each label is unique in the sense that the background consists of a map section that indicates the exact location of the corresponding "distillery".
Kintra Whisky is still young and small, but the number of addresses where these special bottlings available is growing steadily. The first two bottlings were a beautiful 13 year old Glenallachie from a refill sherry butt and a "peaty" 8 year old Ledaig of Tobermory Distillery. Both whiskeys are not often offered as a single malt.
