LA FOULE
Inspired by the beautiful song “La Foule” performed by Edith Piaf. This premium range of wines has been selected from high quality vineyards in France. The wines in this selection are particularly elegant and balanced. Like a timeless portrait of French culture and savoir-faire.

TERROR
The Pays d'Oc takes full advantage of the Mediterranean climate. With its coastline bordering the region in the South, the climate ensures hot and dry summers. This leads to a nice maturity in the wines of La Foule. On the other side, the Black Mountain brings enough humidity and cool temperatures for the vineyards to produce grapes bursting with fruity aromas. This terroir has a great influence on the wines from this region. Through a number of different wine-growing regions, the unique character of each grape variety is clearly evident.

The vineyards are located on the western part of the Languedoc wine region. Influence from the Pyrenees mountains mixed with the sea breeze from the Atlantic Ocean. Together, the influences create moderate terroirs. The resulting wine combines power, elegance and intensity.

WINE PREPARATION
It is harvested quite early in the season. Grapes are sorted and destemmed as soon as they reach the cellar. The fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 26°C to 28°C. For 15 days, the top layer of the juice is deposited daily to extract color and tannins. The wine is bottled after spending four months on its lees.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Shiny red ruby color. The nose shows intense aromas of black fruit, wild strawberry and raspberry. Light floral, with notes of violet. A tender caress on the palate with velvety tannins that has a supple structure. The beautiful length reveals aromas of ripe black fruit and black pepper.
