Each year a collection of unique casks of exceptional quality are hand selected by the head distiller, Tomer Goren, to be bottled as a limited edition for the M&H Art & Craft series. Each bottle has a special label designed to capture the essence of the Israeli art scene. And that looks good.

Small Batch

This single malt whiskey is fully aged in 4 ex-beer casks from the prominent and creative Alexander Brewery, which is an Israeli craft brewery in the pastoral Hefer Valley. These barrels are originally ex-bourbon barrels that were donated to Alexander by M&H. They were used there for the maturation of a special barley wine, characterized by a high alcohol content and a sweet character. This barley wine contains notes of caramel, toffee and coconut. After 6 months the beer was extracted from the kegs and they went back to M&H. There they are refilled and matured to perfection in 3 years.

Fragrance – Sour plums candied with raw honey, sprinkled with cardamom.

Taste – Earl Gray tea with a hint of toasted granola and a hint of white peppercorn.

Finish – Charred oak, spicy with crushed basil and sage leaves.
