The M&H Art & Craft series offers a rare opportunity to discover some of the distillery's most intriguing, cherished casks. Each year a collection of unique casks of exceptional quality are hand selected by the head distiller, Tomer Goren, to be bottled as a limited edition for the M&H Art & Craft series. Each bottle has a special label designed to capture the essence of the Israeli art scene. And that looks good.

Small Batch

This single malt whiskey is fully matured in ex-beer casks from the acclaimed HaAretz Brewery. These casks, originally ex-bourbon casks loaned by M&H to HaAretz, were in turn used to mature a special DoppelBock (double bock) beer, characterized by a sweet aroma and taste rich in chocolate and roasted malt notes. After 4-6 months the beer was extracted and the barrels returned to M&H, refilled and aged to perfection for 3 years. One of the casks in the edition spent a full year of its maturation in the M&H Dead Sea Project, enhancing its flavor to the maximum.

Tasting note Milk & Honey Art & Craft Doppelbock

Fragrance - Light to medium - Opens with citrus, wildflowers and golden delicious apple and evaporates to toffee, tobacco and dark chocolate.

Taste - Present to full - Vibrant and powerful orange notes and marzipan, green apple and orange zest with dark chocolate.

Finish – Medium long – Clear ripe banana accompanied by spearmint. Dark red apple, cocoa beans and biscuit gently take the upper hand.
